RoleLogic v1.5.2
Released February 9, 2026
Bot Engine — Rewritten in Rust
The core bot has been fully rewritten from JavaScript (Bun) to Rust, bringing major performance and reliability improvements:
- Faster role processing — Rules are evaluated and roles are assigned significantly quicker, especially in large servers.
- Lower resource usage — The bot uses less memory and CPU, making it more stable during peak activity.
- Better handling of large servers — Improved support for servers with millions of members. The bot now processes members more efficiently without hitting Discord's rate limits as often.
Instant Rule Updates
Previously, when you created, edited, deleted, paused, or resumed a rule, the bot might take some time to pick up the change. Now, rule changes take effect immediately — no more waiting around.
Faster Dashboard Loading
The "My Servers" list on the dashboard now loads faster. Instead of scanning every server the bot is in, it now only checks the servers you're actually part of.
Improved Dashboard Stability
- Fixed an issue where the dashboard could occasionally show stale data or behave unexpectedly when navigating between pages quickly.
- The Rule Editor now properly prevents you from accidentally leaving the page while a rule is being saved.
- Several small UI fixes across the dashboard for a smoother experience.
More Reliable Access Checks
If the bot temporarily can't verify your server permissions (due to a brief network hiccup), it will now automatically retry before showing an error. This means fewer random "Unable to verify access" messages.
AI-Accessible Documentation
RoleLogic documentation is now highly visible to AI engines. You can ask any AI assistant directly about:
- RoleLogic rules and logic behavior
- Rule problems, edge cases, and troubleshooting
- How specific RoleLogic features work
This makes it easier to get quick explanations and help without manually searching through documentation.
